Tony Sawyer is a world flute player.  He plays Native American Flutes, South American Flutes (Quena or Kena), Anasazi Flutes, Mojave Flutes, Irish Tin (Penny) Whistles, and English (Baroque) Recorders, Japanese Shakuhachie Flutes, Irish Flutes, and various bamboo flutes from around the world.  Although Tony's instumentals are often placed into the "New Age" category with most every other modern instrumental other than Classical, Tony is a conservative Christian and would very much prefer to describe his music as "Contemporary Instrumental, Christian Meditation, or Instrumental Christian."  Tony is in no way associated with, nor does he endorse or otherwise support the New Age Spiritual movement.

Tony has received radio airplay across the US and in Canada.  Within weeks of it's release, Tony's song "Moonlight Serenade" reached number three on the Ride-On-Music New Age/World Chart.  Tony can also sometimes be heard playing the guitar, bass, mandolin and other instruments on his CDs. In addition to composing his own instrumentals for the flute, Tony writes country music.  He often co-writes country music with singer/songwriter, producer, publisher, and studio owner Dan Beal. 

Tony Sawyer and Dan Beal are very proud to announce the completion of their project:  Sawyer Beal - Moods of Motion.  The project features Tony on the Native American Style Flute, kena, mojave flute, anasazi flute, penny whistle, recorder, classical guitar, acoustic steel string guitar, stratocaster guitar, dobro, and just a little on the keyboard.  Dan played the steel string acoustic guitar, stratocaster guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, most of the keyboard, rainstick, and animal calls.
